The "piennolo" cherry tomatoes, whose dialectal term stands for bunch, are one of the most typical products of Campania agriculture. They are grown on the slopes of Vesuvius and are characterized by a sweet and fragrant flavor that makes them ideal for gourmet recipes, sauces and first courses, but also for seasoning Neapolitan pizza.
The typical craftsmanship called "a 'pacchetelle" consists in cutting the tomato in half.
Store in a cool and dry place, after opening keep in the fridge.
