The origin of "Gentile" dates back to 1876, taking its name from the property of the time; the Zampino family bought the brand in the 80s of the following century.
Initially the production of pasta, to which the pasta maker Natale Zampino has dedicated himself since the first day, was focused on the "handmade fusilli", the famous format made with an underwire and left to dry slowly before being used in the kitchen. Later, with the growth of the company, we dedicated ourselves to other long and short pasta shapes.
